lyrics

Out with the Tide.

She finished polishing marble in the temple of the money machines. She rode home along the old coast road, saw faces in the headlight beams. She said 'let's go out tonight , and watch the grit trucks slide on the ice. I'm celebrating loosing my job, I'm finished with budget advice”.

Well her mother was a medium down in Gore, where they'd hidden all the gods behind the billboards. She wants behind that veil, She couldn't wait to sail off to see Love that day, stole a row boat out on company bay. And my she fades away, my love couldn't make her stay. And now she's lying in the midden of a dream. She's on a Silver Throne. And now I'm hanging on the end of this line, she's going out with the tide.
Now silver tide is a mirror, silver tide a lens, silver tide her mother, silver tide her friend. Well, they dug for gold there in Progress Valley, all they found was a bucket of nails. They put a big hole there in Progress Valley and it filled with rain and hail.......
